What it is

This database design, allows users to identify which specific sections of laws apply to them, without needing to actually understand any laws or legal concepts. It is a multi-criteria decision making tool, designed in a database.

The database categorises the complex and numerous laws, in a way that enables your organization to have the capacity to understand and apply these legal requirements (without having to employ a specialised environment and heritage lawyer) for a variety of purposes, including:

• ISO14001 compliance, in relation to the regulatory requirements, in a comprehensive way;
• AS31000 for risk management (in the context of regulatory risks);
• Asset management systems, which identify applicable laws applying to the asset;
• Land managers being able to understand what regulatory obligations apply to them, in managing land;
• A place for users to develop their professional skills and understanding of laws and associated matters necessary for having the skills to exercise sound professional judgement;
